Awards Categories
Coach Award – Grassroots
Outstanding contribution to netball club coaching as a volunteer, for a minimum of 3 years.
Officials Award – Grassroots
Outstanding contribution to netball officiating as a volunteer for a minimum of 3 years. This award can include umpiring, match bench officials, scorers, mentors and assessors
Muriel McNally Grassroots Award:
Outstanding contribution to netball delivery through administration, coaching or officiating at grassroots level for a minimum of 10 years.
Mary Bulloch Administrator Award
Outstanding contribution to netball delivery, through administration, for a minimum of 3 years.
Teacher Award
Outstanding contribution to netball through delivery in the education environment. Nominee must have volunteered for a minimum of 3 years and this to be outside their statutory responsibilities as a teacher.
Young Volunteer Award:
Outstanding contribution to netball as a volunteer under the age of 25 years old. The nominee should have volunteered for a minimum of 2 years in any capacity of netball.
Outstanding Netball Club Award
Presented to a netball club who has made an outstanding contribution within their community. Nominated clubs must be affiliated to England Netball and hold a current CAPS award.
Unsung Hero Award
Outstanding contribution to netball through the delivery of club netball. The nominee should have volunteered for a minimum of 5 years in any capacity within club netball
(All nominees should have had particular impact from April 2014 – March 2015).
Award winners will be decided by a Regional panel and presented at the West Midlands 65th Anniversary and Goalden Globe Awards evening on Friday 26th June at Aston Villa Football Club. Nomination forms for Regional awards should be completed and returned to the Regional Office via email to [email protected] or via post to the address below by the 1st May 2015.
National Awards
Nominations are also sought for the following 3 awards which will be awarded only nationally in September at the Goalden Globe Awards:
Inclusive Award
England Netball Rose Award
England Netball National Long Service Award
The Inclusive Award, Rose Award and National Long Service Award are presented at the discretion of the National Panel and as such are not guaranteed to be presented annually. The Inclusive Award, Rose Award and National Long Service Award are not presented at a Regional level. All nominations in this category need to be returned to [email protected]
