Leamington Netball - Senior Head Coach Required

Leamington Netball has representative teams in Division 1 of the West Midlands League and 5 teams in the Coventry and District League, ranging from the Premier division to Division 5.

We are looking for a Senior Head coach who will work initially with our current Head Coach, and ideally to take over at the end of the 2015/2016 season. The Club has a number of qualified coaches to work with you.

Reasonable expenses will be paid and the commitment we need is: to guide the Club through coaching skills and team play, be available for Tuesday evening training sessions, and be prepared to support at either of the Clubs fixtures which include Walsall or grounds in the Coventry district.

Dissertation Research Project

My name is Annalise Davies; I am a student researcher in my final year studying Occupational Therapy at Coventry University.

I am currently undertaking my Dissertation Research Project which focuses on " The Meaning of Netball as an Occupation for Female Netball Players who participate in a Netball Club".

I am sending this message because I need to find a team who would be willing to partake in the study. I would need a coach or a captain for a team to kindly act as my Gatekeeper before I can approach participants which will be Netball Players of the team. I would need 3-4 participants to complete the project, further information on the project will be given if I am fortunate for a team to participate in the study.

Net 10 for Life 2016 - Get Involved!

We are really excited to launch Net 10 for Life 2016, our annual Cancer Research UK campaign where we ask teams to donate 10p per goal during the 27th Feb to 13th March 2016.
This year we will aim to raise £15,000 across the country for Cancer Research UK through Net 10 2016!

There is a stock of Cancer Research goodies that Leagues can request to support you to help raise more money during Feb/March.

Pink Laces/Pin Badges/Wristbands
Laces are specific England Netball/Cancer Research UK branded but all other items are branded as Cancer Research. These can be sold at leagues to support fundraising. If you are interested in selling any of these, please email me and I’ll send them via post to you or your respective leagues.
